Top Ten Books To Read This Summer

1) A Cottage by the Sea by Carole Matthews -      

Grace has been best friends with Ella and Flick since university. The late-night chats, shared heartaches and good times have created a bond that has stood the test of time.
Now in their thirties, Grace is always a bit disappointed about how little time they get to spend together, so when Ella invites them all to stay for a week in her cottage in South Wales, Grace jumps at the chance to see her old friends.
She also hopes that the change in pace will help her reconnect with her husband, Harry. Unfortunately for her, Harry isn't as enamoured with Cwtch Cottage as she is.
Then Flick arrives; loveable, bubbly Flick, accompanied by the handsome and charming Noah, and suddenly the week ahead looks as though it may be even more confusing for all the residents of Cwtch Cottage.
This book cover is amazing and I just love to go to South Wales on holiday. This book came just in time for the summer holidays.
 
2) The Longest Holiday by Paige Toon -

Paige Toon is a amazing author, the cover design and the plot of the story are really exciting, I can't wait to read this book.

3) The Foster Husband by Pippa Wright -                      
 
Kate left her seaside home town of Lyme Regis for the bright lights of London when she was eighteen, and never looked back. Why would she? She had it all: the glamorous media career, the gorgeous husband. Until her marriage failed and she found herself with nowhere else to go.
Now she's unemployed, separated, and holed up in her dead granny's bungalow while she works out what to do with the rest of her life. Worse, she's forced to share her new home with Ben, the clueless and domestically challenged fiance of her bossy sister Prue.
Ben is a man in need of simple instruction. And Kate is a woman in need of a project. Her own marriage may be beyond saving, but perhaps she can stop her sister's husband-to-be from making all of the mistakes that doomed her own relationship. Kate decides that she will secretly train Ben, her foster husband, as a selfless pre-wedding gift to her sister.
But Kate may be about to learn a few lessons of her own about what makes a good marriage.
I had seen this book on amazon many time but when I seen it in a supermarket just knew I had to buy it.

4) Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella -
 
Lottie is tired of long-term boyfriends who don't want to commit to marriage. When her old boyfriend Ben reappears and reminds her of their pact to get married if they were both still single at thirty, she jumps at the chance.
There will be no dates and no engagement-just a straight wedding march to the altar! Next comes the honeymoon on the Greek island where they first met. But not everyone is thrilled with Lottie and Ben's rushed marriage, and family and friends are determined to intervene.
Will Lottie and Ben have a wedding night to remember . or one to forget?
I love Sophie Kinsella's books, which is good because I am having a Sophie Kinsella week soon. Wedding night look like a great read.
 
5) The Guest List by Melissa Hill -

 Melissa Hill's book designs are always so pretty and The Guest List is no different.
  
6) Things We Never Say by Shelia O'Flanagan -

 I have seen this advertised for ages, so I will be buying it when it comes out on the 20th June 2013.
 
 
7) The State We're In by Adele Parks -

I always buy Adela Parks books, they are always so moving and you are unable to put them down.



8) The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell -

Meet the Bird Family
All four children have an idyllic childhood: a picture-book cottage in a country village, a warm, cosy kitchen filled with love and laughter, sun-drenched afternoons in a rambling garden.
But one Easter weekend a tragedy strikes the Bird family that is so devastating that, almost imperceptibly, it begins to tear them apart.
The years pass and the children become adults and begin to develop their own quite separate lives. Soon it's almost as though they've never been a family at all.
Almost. But not quite.
Because something has happened that will call them home, back to the house they grew up in - and to what really happened that Easter weekend all those years ago.

Lisa Jewell is a very talented author that books just keep getting better and better. This book sounds like a wonderful read.

9) About a Girl by Lindsey Kelk -

I heart Lindsey Kelk's books, I have no doubt that this book will be no different from her other amazing books.



10) Revenge Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger -
