Learning Curves is the third book I have read by Cathryn Fox and I loved it! (Probably more than the first two!) Lauren Neill has always found Linc Blair sexier than any other man in the room or the city really, he is sexy, hot and handsome...he is also very annoying as well. Yet he would never go for someone like Lauren who he probably doesn't even know works for the same company as him, let alone live in the same city.
When Lauren attends a game in the company's box, she is put in a situation with the man himself. Linc has been drawn to Lauren since he noticed her and has been unable to get her out of his mind or dirty thoughts since. So, when he sees her at the game, he takes a chance to make a bet with her that would hopefully get her out of his system once and for all.
When Lauren loses the best, Linc gets her for the whole weekend to show her just how he wants her in his bed. Although, as the weekend draws to a close what once was feelings of sexual tension are not turning into something a bet can't fix.
I loved the way that Linc made Lauren feel as if he cared more about her feelings and needs than he did his own. He showed her that she was important and mattered something that her ex-boyfriend hadn't done when they were together. It showed a different side to their bet, which went beyond a bet and leaned more towards something real.
Learning Curves is a sexy novel that shows that bets can be dangerous things or something that push you in the right direction. With its gorgeous beach backdrop, sexy lead male character and a beautiful lead woman who learned that she was just that and not someone no one would want, makes the book a must read for any Cathryn Fox fans.
