Hold Me Down Hard by Cathryn Fox is about a Eden Carver who is a actress in New York, Eden is a country girl with a innocent demeanour but nothing is as it seems. Like everyone Eden likes to live sometime on the wild side of like. Enter Jay Bennett, officer of law enforcement and next door neighbour of Eden's, though with a bad boy look about him, Jay is haunted by a event in his life that changed his life. Which one of them is going to make the first move and will it be enough.

Both Eden and Jay have different aspects of their lives that they have not told each other about, Eden paired with the help of her actress friends and a script things seems to be heading in the right direction with Jay for once. Eden and Jay are best friends but will the attraction between each other be too much and damage their friendship for ever?

Even though the novel is a short story, it is perfectly written with a passionate story that connects two people together in a unlikely way. The relationship that Eden and Jay have is very unique, they both have feelings for each other but neither have the guts to tell the other person. The story is told with both their thoughts and feeling, there is a lot of drama and passion as the story progressing on.

Hold Me Down Hard is a 41 page novel, if I had to sum it up in three words it would be Sexy, Passionate and Enthralling. Eden and Jay in this novel with learn about what risks to take for love and if it is worth it, whether you can leave the past in the past and will their friendship ever be the same again. I would love to read another book by Cathryn Fox after this one, as Hold Me Down Hard is a amazing and unique book that will leave you wanting more.
