Champion kickboxer Haley swore she'd never set foot in the ring again after one tragic night. But then the guy she can't stop thinking about accepts a mixed martial arts fight in her honor.
Suddenly, Haley has to train West Young. All attitude, West is everything Haley promised herself she'd stay away from. Yet he won't last five seconds in the ring without her help.
West is keeping a big secret from Haley. About who he really is. But helping him fighting for her is a shot at redemption.

Especially since it' s his fault her family is falling apart. He can't change the past, but maybe he can change Haley's future.
Haley and West have agreed to keep their relationship strictly in the ring.

But as an unexpected bond forms between them and attraction mocks their best intentions, they'll face their darkest fears and discover love is worth fighting for.

Haley and West are two different people, they come from different lives, backgrounds, with different friends, but when they met unexpectedly one night they didn't realise how much it would change their lives or that it would push them together in the worse way possible.
Haley's life has changed massively in the last couple of years, losing her home and giving up martial arts, she has slowly been withdrawing into herself. Everyone seems to be moving on around her but she is still stuck in the past, having West walk into her life making the promise she made to herself harder to keep. Dating another fighter is against Haley's rules, but when it comes to West Young, Haley doesn't know if she has the strength to fight her feelings for him.
West Young knows he is a bad person, not only has he hurt his family but one of the most important people to him, his sister. West doesn't want forgiveness as that would be getting off easy, compared to his sister who is in hospital. When he meets Haley, he feels that he needs to save her in some way, although Haley is more guarded than he thought and even then he still wants to find out more about her.
Haley and West have such a wonderful connection, it is quite unique, they make each other better without them knowing it, they are perfect for each other, West knows that, its just Haley that needs convincing. There is a lot of family drama throughout Take Me On, with both Haley and West's families, there is also the secrets that get told, the lies that follow them and the hurt and betrayal that happens after.
Take Me On is not a book to be missed with its unforgettable characters, dangerous situations and drama that seems to follow the main characters everywhere, it will make you glad that you read it.
I loved the main characters very much, they were both different yet they both want to fit in but with their pasts that is difficult but that is why their connection is so special and shows how perfect they are for each other. I also loved Abby, her sense of humour and wild side make her all the more enjoyable to read about.
If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Electric, Thrilling and Amazing.

Another day, another book,
