Review of Starstruck In Seattle by Juliet Madison

Tuesday 29 October 2013

Aspiring actress Anna Hilford might only have a small role in a leading television drama, but she longs to be dreamboat Karl Drake’s leading lady. Sick of being loveless and overlooked, Anna seeks the help of intuitive love coach, Lulu, from LuluTheLoveAngel.com to give her the courage and determination to follow her destiny.

But fate has different ideas, Lulu has undisclosed power, and Anna is about to realise that life happens while you’re busy making plans...

The first thing I noticed about Starstruck In Seattle was the front cover that drew my attention, though after reading what it was about I couldn't wait to read it. The story sounded just like a modern day fairytale that was set in the amazing city that is Seattle.

Starstruck In Seattle is a short story with only 54 pages but the amount of detail that is packed into those 54 pages is amazing. The story revolves around Anna, an actress who wants people to see the talent that she has though that seems hard when you have to share the limelight with Karl Drake. Karl Drake is the lead actor on the TV show that Anna is working on, every woman wants to be his leading lady whether it is on screen or off.

Anna hasn't had much luck in the dating department, so she decides to write to Lulu the Love Angel hoping to get some help. So when Lulu tells her the first initial of her soulmate, Anna tries everything to make that person be Karl Drake. Though life has other plans for Anna, and her two closest friends Charlie and Vera that star in the same TV show.

When Lulu decides to help Anna go in the right direction, she realises that what Anna wants and what she is meant to have is the complete opposite from each other. So when Anna finally decides what she wants once and for all, will she follow her life long dream of escaping her sister's shadow and will she finally find her soulmate that has been in front of her the whole time.

If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Amazing, Unforgettable and Magical. I would recommended Starstruck In Seattle to anyone as it is an amazing short story that will leave you wanting more.

I really loved Starstruck In Seattle, my rating for this amazing would be:-
