Every weekend throughout August I will be reviewing stories from the new Sunlounger 2 book. There will be four reviews on each day (Saturday & Sunday), except for the last weekend that will have six on both days.
So, lets start with the next four books:
How To Have Your Best Summer Ever - Lisa Dickinson
Destination: Australia
Jen and Katie are on a two week 'Best Summer Ever' holiday, following a list of things, Jen do them all, all while travelling around the amazing sights that Australia has to offer. And by amazing sights, I mean the hot dive instructor, Jen meets along the way. He is perfect and totally summer crush worthy, it is not long before he join them for what could be the 'Best Summer Ever'. As soon I finished the book I was like, NO! that can't be the end, there has to be other story, I really want to find out what happens next.
If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be Sensational.
Lisa Dickenson was born in the wrong body. She was definitely meant to be Beyonce. Despite this hardship, she grew up in Devon attempting to write her own, completely copyright-infringing versions of Sweet Valley High, before giving Wales a go for university, and then London a go for the celeb-spotting potential. She's now back in Devon, living beside the seaside with her husband and forcing cream teas down the mouths of anyone who'll visit. She is sadly still not Beyonce.

Connecting Flights - Poppy Dolan
Destination: Spain
Amy hates flying, so when her cousin decides to get married in Spain, she decides she will just have to suck it up and get on the plane, even though she is beyond nervous for the trip. Bill is sat next to her on the plane, he is funny and asks quite personal questions but he does make her forget about her fear for a little bit. So, when they end up going to the same wedding, it seems like fate but when the wedding get cancelled, they both decide to explore Spain together. There is magic, beaches, alcohol and fireworks what more could you ask for.
If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be Phenomenal.
POPPY DOLAN self-published her first book, THE BAD BOYFRIEND'S BOOTCAMP, in 2012 and was amazed that someone other than her mum bought it. It made the Amazon top 100 and no former boyfriends have since come forward to sue.Her next book, THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN CUPCAKES, was published by Novelicious Books in 2013. It's about baking, babies and not knowing when to grow up.
When she's not glued to her laptop, Poppy loves cooking, reading and getting emotional over reality TV. This summer she will be eating cream teas in Cornwall, sampling clotted cream fudge and wondering why her bikini is suddenly so tight.

Partners in Crime - Carrie Duffy
Destination: Los Angeles
Emily has a very successful career, if only her horrible boss would not treat her differently. So, when a rich movie star ask for someone to help him look at houses in LA, Emily is the one that he chooses to accompany him. She can't believe not always is she spending time with Nathan, a movie star to look up to but she is also talking, mingling and meeting other famous people everywhere she goes. Although, Nathan is hiding a secret, one that surprises Emily and makes her do something she should have done years ago.
If I had to sum this book in one word, it would be Glamorous.
CARRIE DUFFY grew up in Selby, North Yorkshire before moving to Paris at the age of eighteen. She went on to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University before training as an actress. Her novels IDOL and DIVA were published by HarperCollins, and are glamorous bonkbusters set in the worlds of music and fashion. Carrie lives in west London and is currently working on her third novel.

Alone in Catalonia - Matt Dunn
Destination: Barcelona
Alison was meant to go on a mini-break with her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend now for his birthday. Deciding to travel to Barcelona on her own, she slowly begins to enjoy the sights that Catalonia has to offer. Although, things go good to bad quite quickly when she is mugged, thankfully she has a knight in shining armour, by the name of Jay. Having lived in the city for a couple of years, he knew about the history, culture and sights, taking her on a journey of what this city has to offer.
If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be Alluring.
MATT DUNN has written eight (and counting) novels about life, love, and relationships, as well as numerous pieces on those subjects for the likes of The Times, Guardian, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Company, Elle, and The Sun. His second novel, the best-selling THE EX-BOYFRIENDS HANDBOOK, was shortlisted for both the Romantic Novel of the Year award, as well as the Melissa Nathan award for Comedy Romance (though it won neither), and his seventh book, A DAY AT THE OFFICE, was an Amazon top ten bestseller (topping the Women’s Popular Fiction, Romantic Comedy, and Humour charts), and was named as one of Amazon’s Editor Picks for 2013. When he's not writing, Matt worries that he should be.
