Review of Hard To Handle by Jessica Lemmon

With this being the second book in the Love in the Balance series, I wondered if I would have to read the first book to understand the plot and the people who it revolves around. Though after looking this series has several books but they are all about different people. So once I started reading Hard to Handle I couldn't stop, it was thrilling.

 

 

Hard To Handle revolves around Sadie and Aiden, both very different people though they know or knew each other once upon a time. So when they keep meeting each other unexpectedly, maybe it's a sign to put the past behind them and start again for scratch.

 

Though each of them being the other's kryptonite, with the fear that history will repeat itself. For Sadie, having been hurt by Aiden before she isn't sure whether she should put her heart on the line again but then again maybe this time will be different. For Aiden, he knows he made the biggest mistake of his life when he let Sadie go the first time. Though now he is determined to show her, what she really means to him and he will do anything to show her at any cost. 

 

So when they decide to take a chance together, neither knows if it will work or if it will fall apart once again. Sadie doesn't want her heart broken again, having not fully recovered from the first time and Aiden knows this will be his last chance to prove how much he really loves Sadie and how they can put everything behind them and start again together.

 

Though nothing is ever as easy as it seems, Aiden is a broken man in many ways, his love life, his own family and the heartbreak that still lingers on from past experiences. Then again, Sadie is that different she is broken as well, she doesn't date the same person more than once, afraid of rejection and her family are very dysfunctional to say the least.

 

This is a story about fear, rejection, life and love and how sometimes we must learn to trust people as they may one day surprise you. With a daring yet entertaining twists, this story is a must read for the wonderful story that you maybe able to relate too.

 

If I had to sum this book in three words, they would be Tempting, Amazing and Entertaining.
