If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be Extraordinary.
MARGARET JAMES is a British writer of historical and contemporary fiction. She is also a journalist working for the UK’s Writing Magazine and teaches creative writing for the London School of Journalism. Born in Hereford, she now lives in Devon at the seaside, which is great because it means when she is stuck for a plot she can always go for a walk along the beach and be inspired.
Her latest novel was nominated for Best Romantic Comedy by the Romantic Novelist's Association and is called THE WEDDING DIARY.
Milly Johnson was born in Barnsley, raised in Barnsley and still lives in Barnsley - although she did study in Exeter for four years and emigrate to Haworth in West Yorkshire in the 1980s.
She trained as an actress, teacher, an accountant, a Customer Services and Suggestion Scheme Manager as well as working in a variety of administrative posts for companies dealing with anything from antique furniture to plastic injection moulded poop scoops. Eventually she found a happy existence writing poems and jokes for the greetings card world - helping to kick off the hugely successful Purple Ronnie project - which she still does on a part time basis whilst penning her novels.
When I read this story I wasn't sure if I missed the main character's name which in turn made me read it again, but still I couldn't find one. So, I think no name was given, although if I am wrong then I am very sorry! The story is set in Capri, a beautiful place to relax, even more so after a divorce. The scenery, the calmness and the peace, is prefect for forgetting all your problems, the main character has had a few of those, along with Adele who is going through the same situation. There is sun, hot guys and a lot of thinking about the past and the future, as all it takes is a short break to finally put everything into focus.
If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be Reflective.

Georgie and Christian are both different from each other, Georgie is more laid back whereas Christian is more of a health freak. So, when Christian gets the idea of cycling to Tuscany, Georgie isn't that excited but she is willing to try. Cycling all day really make Georgie want to relax, so when she finally get a couple of minutes to herself away from Christian, bikes and endless healthy food, she is more than happy. Time to herself is soon interrupted by Lucas, a different yet dreamy man who offers to show her around. Spending time with Lucas is effortless, but with Christian, Georgie feels she must be something she is not. It has dreamy men, beautiful backdrop and crazy friends.
If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would be Incredible.
