I have been tagged by Suzanne from Lavender Likes, Loves, Finds & Dreams, she is such a lovely person to talk to, I also love her blog, she always finds so much lovely and beautiful things from jewellery to bags. I also love her reviews and Lavender Stories, as I always can't wait to find out more about Lavender.
Thank you for tagging me!
Why I Write Blog Hop is where you answer four questions about why you write and about blogging, and then tag two other blogs that you love to take part and continue the hop next Monday.
Why do I write?
I started my blog after reading Hannah's List by Debbie Macomber and Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. After reading these two books, I couldn't help but want to tell people about how much I loved reading them. Which in turn is how 23 Review Street came about, my blog shows the reviews of books that I have loved and laughed with from the beginning to the end. I am so grateful to the authors who contact me about reading their books and for the publishers who are lovely enough to send me review copies to read and review on my blog. I can't wait to read and review more amazing books.
What am I working on?
At the moment I am planning what I am going to do to celebrate my two-year blog anniversary, which is coming up in October. I am also planning some new memes to add to blog which will be a running feature on my blog. There is also one of my favourite holiday's coming up soon, Christmas! So, I have been working on a project that will be on my blog at Christmas Time. There is also my normal reviews that I will be doing as well. I have also just started a new blog called 23 Review Street...Masked which is mainly dedicated to Erotic and New Adult books.
How does it differ from others of its genre?
My blog is dedicated to reviewing books, whether it is paperback, hardback or eBooks. I also take part in Blog Tour, Book Blitzes and Promo Posts. I like to review all types of genre, from Romance, Chick-Lit, Young Adult to New Adult. I have loved to read all the books that I reviewed on my blog, each are very different from the last and that's what I like most about them. Each story has its own uniqueness that I love to read about, as well as the unforgettable characters that you get to know throughout the books.
How does my writing process work?
I normally finish a book and then write my review either that day or the next but sometimes I make notes so I don't forget important things to add in my review. I don't really have a certain plan, sometimes I can write multiple reviews or just one, it depends on the day and the books that need reviewing. I read whenever I can, whether in the day or night, I am always looking for new books and deciding what book to read next. I also try to fit it in around University, with essays I have to grab every second I can to read.
The first person I am tagging is Becca Jayne from Pretty Little Memoirs, I love her blog so much, she was the person who got me to read Young Adult books, to make me see what I was missing. She is also my lovely sister, who designed my new blog layout for me which I love so much. The second person I am tagging is Simona Elena from Sky's Book Corner as I love her reviews and her blog is so beautiful. I also like at the end of her reviews, she puts who she thinks could play the characters, you could almost imagine them come to life in your mind.
Another day, another book,
Great post, I loved reading it! Safe Haven is such an impressive story, I can imagine that got you into blogging. Thank you for the sweet compliments about my blog :).
