Kate is all set to get married on Christmas Eve, her stars tell her it is the right thing to do as does everything else as it seems to point her in this direction. Although, Kate and her mother maybe convinced, Kate's sister Bea doesn't feel the same way, she feels that not everything revolves around your stars and reading your horoscope, if only she could convince her sister and mother.
With less than a week until the wedding, Kate choose the perfect day to pick out a wedding dress according to her horoscope, though it isn't until she gets home does she see the note that is attached to the dress inside. With a cryptic message from the dress's previous owner, Kate embarks a journey to find the owner and find out if they had a happy, successful marriage that she hopes the dress will give her in return.  
Although it is not without trouble along the way, especially trying to find the owner is a full time job on its own not to mention trying to plan a wedding at the same time, not knowing who and where she is, proves to be difficult. So, when a man contacts her with new information, Kate jumps at the chance to prove her sister and her crazy thought wrong in thinking that she is making the right choice in marring Tim. All she need to do is to meet the person who once owned the dress to tell her everything will be ok, even if she doesn't believe it herself. 
Married By Midnight is a unique story of chances, weddings and destiny telling you where to be at an certain moment in your life to make your dreams and wishes come true. With its moving tale of lost love, confusing thoughts and Christmas, it is a wonderful novella that everyone will love. 
If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Happiness, Captivating and Wonderful.
