Welcome back to Jewell Cove, where this holiday season, there happens to be no room at the inn...
When a December Nor'easter roars up the eastern seaboard, Jewell Cove cop Todd Ricker spends his day off being a Good Samaritan to stranded holiday travelers. But when the roads close and Todd can't make his way home, he discovers that the Evergreen Inn is full up.
Until another Good Samaritan opens her doors and offers him a place to stay...Lainey Price is not looking forward to Christmas, but just because she's not filled with the holiday spirit doesn't mean she's going to turn Todd out into the stormy night. Even if it means offering the handsome police officer the couch in her tiny cottage. But when the weather takes a turn for the worse, the two are snowed in for a wintry evening by the fire. With Christmas only a few days away, can Todd convince Lainey to open her heart to the season...and love?

Lainey Price does not like Christmas although its not for the decorations and carols but for the simple fact that her ex-fiancĂ© decided to break her heart last Christmas and call off their wedding. Since then, Lainey has never felt the happiness or joy that comes with the season. She decided to put him and the holiday to the back of her mind and focus on making Evergreen Inn a success which she has achieved especially days before Christmas when she has a full Inn which is a complete surprise even to her but then again no one expected the snow to be as bad as it was.
Todd Ricker was a bit of a lady's man in high school and from the way people talk in followed him into his adulthood as well, although he wishes they wouldn't judge a book by it cover. He has changed for the better, so when he helps a stranded man on the highway as part of his job as a police officer the only place open is Evergreen Inn. Seeing Lainey after all this time, make he think about how he never had the guts to ask her out back in high school but maybe now things have changed.
They both quickly realise that there is something between them but Lainey is afraid of moving forward with someone else as she has been hurt in the past and think she would just be a fling to Todd. So Todd decides to show Lainey that things are never just for Christmas they are in fact things to keep and remember as Christmas is the perfect time for miracles to happen.
Christmas At Evergreen Inn is a beautifully written Christmas story that make you fall in love with the characters and cheer them on from the side-lined, all the while hoping that they end up together, I dare you to not fall in love with them as I know I did.

Beautiful, Amazing and Touching.

Another day, another book,
