There's nothing as wonderful as a wedding, especially when it's your sister getting married. But for Maria, who struggles with social anxiety, being a bridesmaid is a struggle as well as an honour and when she finds herself overawed the person by her side is the last person she'd expect to understand…

The Boy And The Bridesmaid is the last book in the meet cute series and for me it stands out from the rest as it is more unique in the topics that is covered in the story. Maria's sister is getting married, her sister is the main character in The Boy With The Board, which you have to read as well as it is brilliant!
Anyway back to this story, Maria struggles with anxiety for the last couple of years and doesn't like social situations. So being a bridesmaid at her sister's wedding is a bit stressful for Maria but she tries to focus on the good things about the day, like her sister's happiness or the gorgeous guy that is part of the band playing. Maria doesn't think that a guy like him would want to talk to her but when she looks up from her chair, she is surprised when she notices who is sat next to her, showing her that sometimes wedding are new beginnings for everyone including the happy couple.
The Boy And The Bridesmaid is the perfect ending to this amazing meet cute series, with the sweet yet unique story it shows that sometimes you can find a person just like you in the most unusual place.

 Sweet, Unique and Perfect.
