Angie Stanton has everything goes for her...in her career, not so much in her love life. With it being her birthday, her friends throw her a surprise party to show her just how much she means to them. She hoped that by this time in her life, she would be more on the road to settling down but not being in a relationship or even a hint of one shows her that her once hopeful plans are just that...hopeful. With her birthday party drawing to a close, she notices the cowboy that just walks in. Thinking that he is her birthday present, Angie is pleasantly surprised at the reaction that she gets from him.  Dylan Brooks is one of the best actors in the business, so helping his cousin out for the night he never expected it would end up with him falling for the birthday girl. Dylan was only meant to be doing a short part in a tv show before going back to his life but when he realises that his co-star is none other than the woman who he just spend an amazing night with, his life may have just changed for the better.  I loved the connection that Angie and Dylan have, they are both different in many way but they fit well together. There were a lot of funny parts in the novel, some which made me laugh out loud with the situations that the characters get themselves into. My favourite character would have to be Angie, her drive of passion for her job but also the fact that she hasn't had the best past and she wants to make her future better because of that. She is a sweet, loving character who wants to be loved and feel needed, as well as give it in return.   Tie Me Down Tight is a hot, steamy story which makes your normal everyday cowboy completely different to the one in this novel. It has sexual tension that adds fire to the novel and hope that makes you see that sometimes that is what you need for a better future.
