I loved How To Get Hitched In Ten Days from start to finish, it is a wonderfully written novella that will make you wish you had a best friend just like Mikey, he is funny, lovely and very charming. Mikey's best friend Jasmine has just had the worst dinner experience of her life, then again it is not everyday Jasmine has her boyfriend propose to her in the most awful and drunken way possible. Mikey is there to comfort Jasmine and listen as she tell him about the night she had, Mikey has never seen eye-to-eye with Dave - Jasmine's Boyfriend but he can see how happy he makes her so he decides to put his judgement aside when Dave asks for his help.  Although Jasmine has been offered a job in New York and since Dave's unexpected and hurtful proposal she decides that she needs some time and space away from him, so she take the opportunity. With just over a week before she is due to leave, Dave recruits Mikey in helping him win Jasmine back, and to stop her from follow through with her plans to go to New York. With a romantic meal, dancing and unexpected meetings, Dave hopes that he still stands a chance as he doesn't want to lose Jasmine over what could be the biggest mistake of his life. Throughout the novella, you find out that Mikey is holding a secret, one that you guess is the secret half way through the book but by the end you get a shock as you realise what the secret is and how you never saw it coming.   How To Get Hitched In Ten Days is a sweet, romantic story about love and lost love at the same time, with it's quirky destinations, humour characters and heart melting situations it is the perfect romantic read that you won't be able to stop reading until you find out what happens!
